Division D Contest results!  We are very proud of two club members who competed in the Division D contests. 
  • Congratulations to Tomas Pueyo who got 1st place in the Humorous Speech Contest!
  • Congratulations to Jason Okui who placed 2nd for the Evaluation contest!
Tomas moves on to compete at the final contest at the District level being held at the District 4 Fall Conference on November 7th. Good luck!!

Division D Contest results!

The Division D contests were held on tonight (October 15) at McKesson in San Francisco.  The competition was fierce and, now, the results are in!

Tomas Pueyo is the 1st place winner for the Humorous Speech Contest!
His speech, "European Dis-Union", was full of hilarious insights (and maybe just a few sarcastic remarks) about the European Union and "old" Europe.  He'll be competing in the final level at the District Fall Conference on Nov 7th: http://d4tm.org/district-conferences/fall-conference-2015

Congratulations to the master of feedback, Jason Okui, who won 2nd place in the Evaluation Contest!  His astute evaluation of a test speaker talking about going from "woe to wow" was detailed, organized and included thoughtful suggestions for improvement.

New Club Member - Ana Guillén

We are very excited to have  Ana Guillén  formally join our club recently! Ana also delivered her inspiring ice-breaker speech titled 'Mile 25' today! In her speech, she vividly shared the unique experience of training for and completing The San Francisco Marathon. She expressed how such an experience has influenced her professional life by challenging herself and preparing for the unplanned. She inspired us by asking: "What mile 25 moment is on the horizon for you? And what will you do to train for it?"   About Ana Ana is a marketing executive at the intersection of technology and content. Beyond marketing, she is passionate about youth culture, the creator economy, and emerging technologies. Off the clock, you’ll find her on a yoga mat, out for a run, or listening to an audiobook.
